Running a Simulation Through Eclipse

This method loads Eclipse over the internet, using the Xterm window you have opened. You can also edit your code and such with this method, but it is usually too slow to be of use.

  1. You should have a terminal open on the bianca machine.
    • xserver9.jpg
  2. Next, you can open Eclipse on the bianca machine with the following command:
    • eclipse &
    • xserver10.jpg
  3. Now Eclipse should be loading on the bianca machine and you should see the following loading box:
    • xserver11.jpg
  4. You can now select your workspace and run simulations as you would if you were working on a machine in the Computer Science Department.
